Mulatu Astatke

To show the rhythm of Mulatu Astatke’s music, I made the typography the main focus by designing a bold title where the letters are filled with abstract circular shapes. I created a unique "Ethio-Jazz" color palette that mixes the green, yellow, blue and red from the Ethiopian flag. Honoring the artist's roots while fitting the jazz mood of the black background.
